This year Christ Church is introducing afternoon services of traditional Celtic music and liturgy drawn from ancient communities such as Iona and Lindisfarne, services designed to inspire and renew our spirits.

An Evening With Henry Purcell

“Echoing Air” Ensemble. The life and times of England’s most illustrious 17th Century composer, Henry Purcell, are revived in historical perspective through readings and song, featuring works of Samuel Pepys and other Purcell contemporaries.
The dynamic ensemble, “Echoing Air,” presents this concert in celebration of the 350th anniversary of Purcell’s birth.
Tickets: $15, $5 students
Experience a day in the life of a chorister on Saturday, October 24, 9am – 1pm. This will be a memorable day of music and fun behind the scenes of CCGP’s choral groups–at no cost. Children from 1st through 5th grade will enjoy small group instruction, hands-on musical experiences, a group performance, T-shirts and other fun.
